Diathermy or Electrocautery is a dermatological microsurgical technique performed using radio waves. Its purpose is cauterization, sublimation, electrocoagulation of skin lesions of the skin. Electrocautery also uses radio waves for tissue incision (thermal scalpel) and for electrolysis.
Papillomas are small bumps that resemble moles in appearance. They are caused by HPVs, but are more difficult to transmit than warts or warts.
They are recommended to be removed for both aesthetic and medical reasons.
The dermatologist is the right one for the correct diagnosis and treatment of these skin lesions, so that they do not spread or cause more inflammation.
In modern medicine, cauterization of skin lesions is a minimally invasive treatment, which causes a tolerable feeling of instant burning on the skin. Contraindications to the use of diathermy are the presence of a pacemaker or defibrillator.
